I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 8—but I also took a detour through Corporate America, spending time at GE, American Express, and most of my career at 3M. There, I had the incredible fortune to work with some of the world’s most respected experts and consulting firms—McKinsey, Bain, Ram Charan, Gary Hamel, Rita Gunther McGrath, and others —learning firsthand what actually makes great business strategies work.

What I discovered was this: the frameworks are brilliant—but turning them into action takes a lot of time, effort, and team horsepower.
